Mines a Barrett 550 with a 910 antenna. My antenna looks the same. I cant measure the mounting bolt on mine as its got a lock attached and the seller had lost the key.

The mounting hole on the bracket is between 16.5 & 17.0 mm (less than 17mm anyway) according to my plastic verniers.

    Barrett 2019 auto tune

    Hi,

I am desperately trying to find somewhere/someone who can sell me a bracket to mount a Barrett 2050 auto tune into the back of my Defender 110 station wagon. I have searched high and low and to no avail. I have tried Barrett directly - no joy as they won't supply for a single unit order (I understand their position. However I am struggling with the fact that having bought a HF unit, it now appears impossible to mount the bloody thing (I have been speaking to numerous company's for months and still no joy). Does anyone know where I can get an appropriate mount? I honestly had no idea that for those of us not driving Patrols or Hiluxs this was such an issue!!

    Many thanks

Do you happen to have part numbers or where you got the parts from? I'd prefer rear mountings but a bull bar mounting will definitely work. Would you happen to have a close up of the mounting/connection of the auto tune to the bull bar? A massive thanks in advance!!

The mounting is a section of 50mm square tube that I welded to the bull bar. I placed it so when folded down the antenna rests on top of the guard. I zip tied a piece of tire tube to the antenna body to prevent rubbing.

It survived a Birdsville Simpson Oodnadatta trip last year without any dramas.

I made this for a Codan autotune on a Defender wagon I once owned.
Bracket is hot dipped gal, and the brace is stainless steel.
Mount hole is 180mm from the body.
    Worked very well.

I think they were taken south west of Cunnamulla on the Hungerford Rd. On the way to Currawinya. They had a good size shearing shed there.
