    Codan 9323

Guy's, I have the opportunity to pick up a Codan 9323 with Autotune antenna for nicks. Are these a good unit and are they extremely hard to use?

If only!!!!! Our old Toyota Ambulance cracked its chassis a while back so they have retired it and it has been sitting in our ER shed behind the fire tender for about 12 months now doing nothing. It will probablly go to tender, so I asked my boss about buying the HF and he just said pull it out and I will give you a permission to remove slip. I may owe him a couple of days OT now. Well done Craig !
they are worth a pretty penny.
I'm in the middle of (till I came back to the 'puter) looking where to mount an older Codan 7727 I was given.
At this stage it looks like its going in the box under the back seat.

G'day All, just from memory I paid approx $1400.00 about 2 years ago for the same unit, I have a Codan 8528 and the old aerial just died from lack of use apparently it's an inherant design problem that was inbuilt into the system the new one is a ripper cheers Dennis
PS i wish I could have got one for nix

Yep 9323's are great, program from the front mic socket. I just swapped one for an 8528 as I wanted it for ham use. Just need to work out where to mount the head.

Wow, thread revival after 12 years, that's got to be a new record.
