    Hi Cam,

    I was referred from this thread in Disco Sport Replacing halogen housing with xenon housing

    I can see you were telling Leoniums that DS 16 CCF modification is not possible on that car yet?

    Just wondering have you heard anyone successfully replacing the DS 16 halogen headlight housing with the original xenon ones?

    I can find a few thread that US garages have been doing that but nothing in AU so far.

    Appreciate your feedback.

    I can edit the full CCF in a Discovery Sport, so it's possible (for me at least) to change that setting from Halogen to Xenon.

    But i don't use the aftermarket diagnostic tools from Blackbox or Gap, so I cannot speak for them or their capabilities.

    Leo's problem is he is in Greece, and he could not find someone to do it locally.

    Also worth mentioning that I can now edit the CCF in the Discovery 5 and the Velar too, and other 2018MY vehicles, finally!

    That’s good to know Cam. I had the impression that the newer models would be very hard to access compared to older ones like my D4. I had assumed Gap and others may not offer similar as a result. I know you have much more high-end equipment but perhaps this raises hope for the diy diagnostic tool market. I’ve certainly benefited from having a Gap tool for the D4.

    So the headlight swap from Halogen to Bi-Xenon in the Discovery Sport through CCF modification was successful, you can see in the other thread.

    Other exciting news is that the first 2018MY CCF modifications on a customer car (not a test car) using Pathfinder have been completed.

    2018MY L494 only a few months old, now has Dynamic Mode and Traffic Sign Recognition enabled.

    My 2014 D4 has the blind-spot monitors, but has anyone tried to, or succeeded in, making them audible, as is the case for most other blind-spot monitors on the market?

    Technically it would be possible ....

    TV on Move

    Hi Cam, what was the setting you changed in the CCF for allow the TV/DVD to display on the screen while in motion. My wife would love this for our long drives.

    AHBA - M16.5 Evoque

    Hi Cambo,

    I’ve been following the amazing work you and Stuart have been doing (on the FL forum too).
    I was wondering if you have any insight on auto high beam assist.
    My Evoque has all the hardware but it’s just a matter of enabling it in the CCF.
    I did buy the IIDTool to try and enable but it didn’t work. The IIDTool options on the Evoque were very limited (unlike advertised) so I returned it.
    I guess I need help with two things - what’s the best kit to buy....I don’t mind spending the money as long as it will last me a few years (car goes out of warranty in 6 months).
    Have you played around/enabled AHBA on any of your cars? (I should have just paid for the option....instead I went for the heated steering wheel... )
    Appreciate any help!

    CCF Edit tool

    Hi Cambo, Just picked up this thread looking for a CCF editor for MY18+ Jaguars etc, I was going to try the softwaredownload module again but my DA-DoIP interface is not working with SDD software at present so I only have DA-Dongle for SDD and DA-DoIP for Pathfinder. I know the Bosch and Chinese copies (Which I will not buy) do work with softwaredownload but if there is something else I can buy I am very interested. I am trying to get Diagnostic Associates to fix the problem with SDD as their new device is DoIP/J2354 but they say it hasn't been fully tested yet with SDD, it only came out May 5th. I can edit the CCF on all cars up to the start of production May 2017 as that is when the new Body Control Module was fitted which is the only difference between pre-DoIP vehicles. The Diags talk over ethernet to the BCM the BCM then handles ethernet to CAN. In the Ford world the VCM is the ethernet termination and that then handles the CAN bus from there. Bosch have been instrumental in moving that bit of the diagnostic link into the vehicle so you can now connect an ethernet cable directly to the car with the relevant software on the Laptop. The new DoIP interfaces are basically USB to Ethernet with a control signal line to wake up the car as the cars can't support wake-up-on-lan and a CAN bus connection to the Diagnostic CAN bus. For interest I've attached the Diagnostic connector wiring for SDD and DoIP F-Pace's which is the same for all JLR vehicles.

    My16 tdv6 fitting oem sat nav to meridian touch screen.

    Hey guys, great community here!
    I recently purchased a my16 discovery tdv6 and upgraded it to sdv6, it has the meridian touch screen with reverse camera, I was wondering if it was possible to put in the oem sat nav for it, and if so is there a ball park figure?
