    Replacement Engel Fridge Fan

    Good morning all,

The cooling fan in my 39L Engel fridge (Model MRFT - 540D G4 - purchased in year 2000) is growling and due for replacement. The original fan (as far as I know - I don't think it has ever been replaced) is a Jamicon JF0825 S2H. The code stands for the following:
    JF - fan type
    08 - frame width - 80 mm
    25 - frame thickness - 25 mm
    S - sleeve bearing
    2 - voltage - 24V
    H - high speed (3,000 rpm I think)
Overall it puts out 38.39 CFM air flow. Input: 130 mA, 3.12 watts

I have found a direct replacement from Jaycar. Catalogue number YX2542.
    80mm 24VDC Thin Ball Bearing Version - 2 Wire | Jaycar Electronics

    Air volume: 40 CFM
    Input: 3.12 watts
    Ball bearing
    Input current: 130 mA
Size: 80 mm width, 25 mm thickness
    Speed: 3200 rpm

    It's only $30!
