    Rear view mirror camera

Anyone got a reverse camera with the screen in the rear view mirror? Any recommendations?

I bought a Parkmate clipon (4.3" screen) for my 2 work vehicles and my parents car. For a medium quality unit it's pretty good as it works well in low light and gives good coverage. The model number is MCPK-43BG and I got a cheap rate from Autobarn for buying 3. Also has dual camera mode if you wish to go that way.

We had to get an aftermarket one in the new work ute,it is only average, its a NEXTEK brand.

The main issue is the end of the vehicle is not in view,so if you want to hook up a trailer or back right up to something,it isn't the greatest.

We have fiddled with the camera, moved it slightly, etc, but still not the greatest.

The factory fitted one in the later vans we have is fantastic,as the clarity is so much better, and the rear of the vehicle is visible. It also has lines on it which the driver can reference from, the aftermarket one doesn't.

The dealer had the one fitted to the ute,in hindsight,we should have done a bit more investigation and got a better one.

I bought an Aldi one on impulse a while back dirt cheap and it works fairly well. It clips over the rear mirror. The camera just clips onto the rear number plate and a wire runs to the reversing light for power. It transmits to the mirror, which is plugged into a dash USB.
The picture can be a bit flickery, but for what I paid it does the job reasonably well. It would be better if the Defender's number plate was centrally-mounted, instead of to the left.
