    Pivotel Iridium 9505A Car Kit

After years of carrying my old 9505A in a bag, I have finally managed to source a secondhand Pivotel cradle (with data interface) and the Beam Hands Free Interface Model-MCHASY001408 to install into my Defender here in Sierra Leone. I'm now trying to source the connecting cables. I've contacted Pivotel and am waiting on a reply but wondered if anyone on here might know an alternative source?

Well, unfortunately that idea was a bust as the cradle and interface unit weren't compatible, Pivotel customer service were very helpful. So I've now sourced a complete kit from the US, based on a BEAM RST978 MCHASY001404 Interface unit and a generic handset cradle. The transceiver cable runs separate mic and audio jacks which connect to the standard 9505A handset. Ideally, I'd like to be able to use the Pivotel cradle I already have which takes the transceiver cable connecting straight to the cable with no separate jacks. Would anyone know if or where a cable like this might be sourced?

Those ports look like standard old school com ports, try asking you local computer nerd that has a heap of the older hardware stashed around if he has a suitable cable.
Or eBay may provide you one just search com port cables

Old school computer screen cable will fit, you can still get them easily heaps of newer tech still uses it. Officworks JB $2 shops even have them laying around.
    Cheers
