    Mobile Phone upgrades

Is there anyone here who DOES NOT upgrade their operating system? Since I upgraded my S8 it has become unstable with programs seemingly opening by themselves. Also I had to figure out the way to send mms as the way I used to do it no longer works. I have done the power down reset a couple of times but phone is still doing silly things. Jim

My old S5 ran out of ram, it became really glitchy, freezing, powering down unexpectedly and app updates made it worse.

I've just changed to an S9, it's been fine for two weeks, but we'll see. Mobile Phone upgrades

My S5 is still running ok. I don't have auto updates turned on. I usually wait a month or so after the update comes out, check online for issues before I tell it to install.

My iPhone 7Plus gets upgraded the moment the new ios is released. It's like getting a new phone for free, and the security updates are a no brainer. iOs 12 is so far going just fine.

I did the same Don (and still do) but I just had too many apps, and I was constantly hibernating apps and doing cache cleans to keep it running.
