The Astor Diamond dot radio was also fitted to Valiants of the late 60s - when fitted as a OEM option, they had the Astor name replaced with Valiant like the one in this thread has BMC on it but the Valiant ones did not have "all Transistor" as well.

We had three Valiants in the late 60s and they all had this radio fitted - from what I can remember they were a quality item and worked well - as well as AM could - had no choice but to listen to the footy and horse-racing on the weekends and horse racing all week.
