Aren't you allowed to touch a phone in a holder to press a button to make a call?
12 months ago, I replaced my Samsung phone with a new one.
I took the sim card out and transfered it over to the new one.
My old phone has various apps on it for solar battery charge monitors, bluetooth battery monitors, and vehicle running costs. None of these need any phone hook up, and are fine with a wireless internet connection.
So is this still a phone??????
If I have it on a cradle in my D3 with the battery monitor on the screen, and I touch it, and am seen by a "person in a blue serge uniform", can I be pinged?Just asking.

as long as it is a commercial holder not a piece of velcro, although IMHO it would work just as well, and I used to use one before bluetooth.
Anyway good luck with that.

they have never been a phone, have they?
It would be the same as something like an iPod. Same rules as a phone. Commercial holder only.

Bloody hell! Now the birds are communicating other than by squawks!
