    Lithium Batteries - Game Changer??

I’ll let you be the judge.....

I don’t normally watch this guy however his latest video popped up my feed and given it was about Lithium Battery I thought I’d sit through it.

I have no idea what value the two guest presenters brought to the table.

Yep, and only in one minute. So little time, and so much to do ... whilst overlanding!

Don’t really like him... but lithium’s and solar changed the way I travel in my caravan...

fwiw I’ve only been at a powered site once in my travels since the end of June... when I was in Dubbo in early July (to run a heater, cause it was cold, windy and wet, 10 degrees or so)..

I run 240ah of lithium batteries in my van... recharged with solar... and a large inverter...

I regularly use a kettle to make my morning coffee, and even sometimes cook a microwave meal at night...

    Cheers,
    AP

To me the main game changing thing about them is the weight and size savings over an identical usable capacity battery bank in traditional lead acid type batteries. But for my style of camping they are not really required as my main current draw is the fridge and a few lights at night.
