Not particularly difficult. I put a CB up there in the map shelf. You run the wires across and down the driver's A pillar, preferably without breaking all the pins off the pillar trim. You can run to the cabin fuse box, but I went out through the grommet to the engine bay fuse box as access is easier for the elderly like me...
Decent USB sockets are a dime a dozen, they voltage correct themselves so it really is just a matter of doing a good job on cable routing and connections.
