    Sourcing AVS-5 cable?

I'm looking for about 3 or 4 metres of AVS-5 cable.
With the cross-section 5.228mm^2, it's pretty much the same as AWG-10 (at 5.26mm^2), except it has a thinner insulation layer.

I'm going to use it to replicate a cable loom on my ARB Twin/Tank air comp.

My Google-fu is letting me down, and I can't seem to find any online in Aus.

    Any suggestions?

Any specific reason you need the thinner insulation? Current capacity of AWG-10 is fine for said compressor at around 50 amps absolute max.
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.

I want to replicate the connection as per the supplied loom with the battery clamps.
The compressor assembly has a male Aptiv-Delphi Metri-Pack 280 series 5-way plug, with 2 pairs of AVS-5 cable (the 5th is standard 3mm earthing the switch relay).
AWG10 won't fit in the female plug I'm wanting to duplicate. And I don't want to remove or modify the connectors on the compressor at this stage.

AVS-5 is common for automotive looms, but I'm buggered if I can find anyone that sells it.

    Cheers, Brad.

I was hoping this would be a quick and simple project, but now I've got my DRIFTA drawers on order, I'll wait for them to turn up, then sort out the compressor location and wiring.
In the meantime, I'll stick with the old school battery clamps.
