Thanks for the advice everyone. As I said people either love 'em or hate 'em.
Having a standard LR rad/cass of 1996 vintage there's a lack of plug-in aux plugs etc. Arial in the from wing on driver's side.
Quite like the Grizzly Adam's cassette idea.
Thanks again.
We have a 'cygnett' which is passable, just. But it chews thru batteries.
The Disco has a radio/CD only so it (the transmitter) has to be when we're in the mighty 4wd. But the signal is ummm, 'iffy'.
The AU has a radio cassette and the cassette adapter, (as shown earlier)
which is much better (and can play other things we have with a 3.5 mm stereo connector, like the laptop computer/DVD).
If I had a cassette player in the car, I'd go for the adapter.
Cheers, GQ
Here you go - I also started a thread on cockpit mods so I might post them there as well...Quote:

Crikey how neat is that cubby box? Just the logbook/manual and the iPod. Mine is an absolute tip. It gives me the shirts actually. I might clean it out again this very night. But I seem to need everything...
It does fill up with stuff when I'm on a trip... honestly.
check this one out, looks interesting....

CES 2007: Monster iCarPlay Wireless 200 FM Transmitter
http://www.gizmodo.com/assets/resour...1/icarplay.jpgThis iPod FM transmitter from Monster landed an innovation award from CES. Whaaa...? An iPod accessory landing an innovation award? Bullhookey, I tell you. This FM transmitter is a bit different than the average iPod FM transmitter. It has an AutoScan that will automatically scan all of the FM networks to find the clearest one to work with your iPod, and it will also display the station information on the actual iPod screen itself. Add in charging functionality and 3 programmable buttons makes this device pretty damn nice (except the $100 price tag). – Travis Hudson
