ahh to give it away - thought everyone knew where to get recycled hot car radio's??
Cash Converters :)
I drop past one in Knox City every now & then to look for CB's or any bargins. EG: My printer that I have is a USB all in one printer, photo copier, scanner & does full colour photo printing as well... cost me 20 bucks! Why? Coz they didn't have the manual or software, 20min down load off HP fixed that.
This radio was for 100 - offered 90 & appected (Cash) I can tell you why it was sold - the motor for the face plate is worn - but its still fine & I can replace it - so for 90 bucks I am still in front big time :) the 280 ~ 300 I was going to pay for a head unit will now go to JBL speakers & amp :)
Oh - cashies are good for Amps as well hahaha I wouldn't buy too much from there but they allow up to 3 months for you to swap or return your items

Ah I see.
Cash Convertors on this side of the world is a rip off.
Maybe I could contact some of my brothers mates in Adelaide for a cheap stereo / DVD.:o
Hang on, most of them are in jail.:eek:

really? that suxs - not much comp for second hand goods vs new or something? Guess in Esperance it might be an issue... what about Perth? (Btw - really want to go there one day :) )
Just thought I would mention I got some awesome JBL speakers for the rangie, little 4" jobs & are 2" deep... so a spacer will be needed. I hooked them up to the head unit for a test - unreal! will pick up a little amp soon - cashies have heaps of them atm lol I think its just a pitty about all the owners finding a missing amp from their car. :/ if I ever get one stolen I know I'll go over a few of the cashie like places myself. ;)
