Hold the Home button then press the power \ lock button. The iphone will flash white and make a shutter noise.

You can get to the photos when you plug your phone in to the PC or via the Photos app.

Skype announces an app for iPhone

I've just installed it but it crashes :(

It'd be great if it worked, haven't tried it yet, but hoping for the best lol...

Apparently its because of Clippy on a jailbroken phone... which mine might be.

Crashed on mine first time too.......mucking around with it now.

Got it working after I removed Clippy.

Works well so far.

you need to shut the iphone down and restart it foir it not to crash when first installed it appears..

I made a few international calls today using skype over Works wireless network. Pretty good call quality (on par with Optus but thats not a difficult level to acheive)

The program seems to crash a lot tho never during calls but when browsing around the app i had it crash many times, no errors nothing.

I hate, hate HATE the Optus network... I got a two-year contract with them the day the iPhone was released (11/07/08) - don't judge me. It sucks, whether I'm down in the Southern Highlands, in the middle of the Sydney CBD or standard metro areas...

Telstra now has much better packages than at the start, may switch (especially as an upgraded iPhone - hardware wise - should be released in a few months...)
