    Internet speed

A very long time ago I remember someone posting a link that could show you how fast your internet connection was.
Telstra have just supposedly jumped me from 256k to 1500k, but I really don't notice that sort of difference.
Anyone know how I can check.

    Thanks Inside, very handy.
Ditto here also in regard to lack of download speed (coming up as 227!!!).....I'll try at various times throughout the day and see if/what any differences recorded.

    Cheers

Your speed will vary greatly depending on the server you use to test your speed:

I got the same correspondence and noted the asterix after their 1500kbs claim. It said plainly that the 1500 was 'theoretical' and would not be attainable in reality. ...Advertising

I used to get better before, I think the more people that sign up the slower it gets. I used to get 11000 - 18,000kbps
