    iPhone cases

Need to get some protective covers for the iPhones for me and the missus.
Looking for something that will protect the screen and, ideally, offer some sort of protection in the event it is dropped (I am more likely to do that than she is).
Also are there any that allow you to have it on your belt ?
Any and all advice on this matter appreciated.
    Thanks
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

I have no idea ! I carried my old one there. I guess my big fear is that if I carry it in my pocket it wil fall out !

There's heaps at the Apple shop, but the expensive. At least you can see them in the skin.

BTW, you go Tel$tra or Floptus?

I have the Otter Defender. Great name.
It does all you ask and offers very good all-round protection. Also comes with a very positive fit belt holder.

Get a pack of screen protectors and a case of your choosing from Ebay.

    iPhone case

I have had an iPhone since Nov 2010 and have already had to replace the glass twice. Both times I dropped it on a hardwood floor and it landed on one of the corners. Both times it had a protective shell - the type that fits firmly over the back of the phone and it seems, do nothing but stop scratching.

I am now using a Belkin leatherish cover which includes a cover over the screen. So far, so good but time will tell. Next time I am in town I am going to have a good look at the protective covers they have for tradies (as a farmer/winemaker I should qualify). These are supposed to be water resistant, shock resistant etc.

Yes I should stop dropping it but that is not going to happen. I have lots to do and am in a hurry (most of the time).

For mega protection the otter Defender is the best by far, second is a Speck rubber case, it has no screen protection and can make operating the phone quite hard, Ive just gone to the Otter Box which is thinner and seems pretty good. As far as screen protectors go there is only one worth buying, Invisible sheild, it lasts 4 times as long as the cheapies and is self healing, it realy does work and in the long run works out quite cheap.
Thats my 10c worth (ive tried out heap and heaps )

    good luck

Get a silicone rubber cover. It won't slide out. In fact, it won't slide in.

You should get a case sent to you for free. Search around for it, there's also an App - iphone case program or something similar.

Cheap cases and accessories from the two links I posted in one of you earlier threads. If you're willing to do the hunting around on Dealextreme, they have a 2amp car charger that's listed under ipads but is made for iphone4 as well. Very convenient to have a fast charger in the car - most of the others are 1amp.

Unless you're after this, or are in a huge hurry, there doesn't seem to be much point on spending a fortune.
