    blank pages on aulro

    Hi all,
I can log onto aulro easily, generally start off in the general section page. After reading whatever and go back to the general page,I get a blank screen.
This is happening more frequently ands its not only the general page that is doing it.It can be any section.
Puter is Macbook pro with the i5 in it,its approx 8 months.
It only happens on aulro, not any other site that I visit.
Anybody got any suggestions as to why this is happening to me.

    Cheers

does it eventually load, or stay blank.

My Mac takes a long time to load, but not on all pages. Yes does seem to be more on AULRO than the rest of the web.

From all my adventures reading self help menus, the problem seems to be a DNS server settings. Its function basically codes numbers into words and is installed on your computer by the service provider, though can be a third party as well.
Go Apple symbol, System Preferences, Network, and you service supplier can give you their DSN numbers.

however I have rechecked mine with Optus and has done little to fix the issus, so back to more self help when I get the time.

hope this of some help, not just trivia

Is the whole page blank, or does the page still have the banner ads at the top? And if the ads are there is the lower one the Drive.com ad? I have been getting that a lot lately, where just the ads load, but only when the lower ad is Drive.com.

    Cheers, Mick.

Same, its the ad servers I think causing blank pages for me. I get the top page ads and that is it. I have to reload the page and get a different batch of ads then the page loads.

    Using win 7 and chrome.

Thought it was just me! I get the banner advert at the top of the screen but that's it. A refresh will generally load the page but not always. Happens on my desktop and laptop, both running Vista.

I get the same on the mac's if the ad blockers not running (usually when firfiox has self updated and not restarted). Also on windows when at uni, I think that's their servers not liking the ads though. And same, refresh and all good. Just run an ad blocker on the mac.

And I know we need the ad $$$ but I'm not in the marker for pumps (which perpetually seems to be pasted onto every page I view. NRMA is the last people I'll insure with and I'm already with optus, although you'd never know it as they always call on the OPTUS PHONE that's on the plan with the OPTUS CABLE and ask if I want to change from my current service provider(OPTUS) to OPTUS.

IF its the adverts why not get rid of the retchid things, theyre a bloody nuisence anyway.

I personally dont mind the site sponsor logo below the header (Mulgo, British Offroad, Traxide etc etc), but all the others are a pain in the arse.

    Just my 2p worth!
    Regards,
    Jon
