yet to see this myself so i am still not convinced it is the system itself.

i have asked the advert server guys to have a look and see if they can see anything untoward and they failed to see anything out of place.

again, if you cleared your temp files and it then worked fine for a few days it is a bit hard to see how it could be the server.

did you try clearing your temp files again?

sorry, but until i can find something amiss or get enough info to allow me to track something down it is a bit hard to fix something

not saying it doesnt exist, but that i cant find anything on the server that is broken... it may be that it is some sort of timing problem with one of the ad servers.

and i have been seeing all the adverts in all the pages since PhillipA told me about his issues.

If it happens to me again I will get a screen grab, on the status bar while loading a page it gets stuck on "adserver" or "waiting for adserver".

Sorry no help here - that problem could be a million things, hardware or software related. Certainly not AULRO related tho

Can only suggest a standard clean out (full scans etc virus and spyware)
If its a hardware problem a lot harder. Does windows even try to load, does it freeze half way, does the BIOS screens even come up?? I had a funny one a while ago, very occasionally the router/network causes windows to not load properly. Have to unplug the network cable, reboot, then plug it back in. Now that is weird.

Funny mine now has been OK for several days. I have a feeling the advertiser has done something.
In this period the only thing I have changed is an upgrade to Trend Micro Platinum, but I think it came good prior to that.
