AH! The old biscuit bombers. I used to fly from Coff's Harbour to Sydney with Butler airlines in a DC3
Told you so!!!
DC3, don't they have 2 of those big spinny things, and engines that have up and down things arranged in a circle like the cloth planes of WW1?
I think I saw one in a museum once!:p
Actually, there is one does evening sightseeing flights over Melbourne.
In all honesty, The fly-by done by "Connie" was the highlight of the airshow before last for me, just a beautiful piece of engineering, the sound of the four raidials, and the props was just music!
It just purred along.

50g???
I'm running 500 + 500 and pushing it.
I started with a Vic 20 and cassette drive and cartridges plus it plugged into the TV. Still remember the old man saying "what will anyone ever do with those things?"
The same guy who knocked back 250 acres at narellan in the 70's for less than $1000-.
Now we're in Dalby we decided to just have mobile everything.
We have 2 mobiles and mobile internet. So our monthly spend more than halved and we honestly haven't missed the higher download limit.
I just checked and we've used about 1.5g per month so far.
I could even ditch my phone as I have a work one but I like to check my personal emails and some websites on it. Can't do that on the work blackberry.
The only thing I stopped doing is downloading tv shows. Even though I've still downloaded a few here and there.
anyone remember the old xerox printers that used to shoot the paper out the back so fast it went about 6 foot in the air. Back then memory was expensive and no such thing as print buffers or print spool files so the paper had to keep up with computer.
