Hey Inc, I think your steampunk server needs some more coal...boiler pressure is dropping!:p
I'm getting similar issues, also the smileys that appear next to where you put in the text aren't all downloading.
Oh and no thanks button, but I'm guessing everyone has this issue.
Baz.
I'm new to the forum, but I have to say it seems very slow, but all the graphics and adverts over my oh_so_slow satellite connection are probably at least partly responsible
I have also noticed that in IE9 external links do not work, they get hijacked by "viglink" and just result in a tab with an error. This doesn't seem to happen in Firefox 5.0, and in IE 9 I have never seen it on any other website. This may be something specific to my PC, so I'll check it out.
More annoying, however, is that when writing a post, if I use the mouse to relocate the cursor to an earlier point in the post I often lose the cursor completely and am unable to type. Clicking on another box on the page and then clicking back to the message I am writing seems to fix it, but I'm guessing that the forum doesn't deal with IE 9 very well?
I'll try Firefox instead and see how it goes!
Hi Warb,
I'm not getting any speed or link problems, but I'm using Google's Chrome browser. The site has been almost completely stable & much faster since the recent upgrades.
Regards,
Les.
Yep, I was (not doing it tonight) but it hasn't been doing it all the time. If I refresh the page the links sort themselves out so not a big issue. I'm running IE8 and can't replicate the problem on Safari or Firefox.
EDIT:
Ahh here we are, here's a sample non working link, seems to occur when the page doesn't load completely as I refreshed it and the link now works.
Don't know if it'll tell you anything, it's quite a long link to nowhere.

Just tried the site in IE9 & all is perfect here too. Links working as expected. Fair enough if they are non-existant sites etc. like the example, but others I just tried do the same as they've always done, here & in Chrome.
You see the word "viglink" on the new tab itself as it opens & then the actual page(link)is loaded.
