    Lga2011?

Any of you Pro's heard anything interesting?
seems to be aimed much more at the enthusist,,
    "they" are saying Q4 release---
would be nice if they could keep the power below 100w,,,
running temps around 80 is good,,
it seems INTEL wont be shipping a fan
    with the CPU,

but you can buy a watercooling solution from them if you want--

my understanding is it will be the replacement for the current 1366 socket and will be part of the X79 Chipsets. There are plans to reuse the 1155 chipset for mainstream processes with the X75-X77 chipsets which come out in 2012 along with the Ivy Bridge CPUs

I haven't seen any official word on if the 1155 Sandy Bridge CPUs will be compatible with 1155 Ivy Bridge chipsets or vice versa

My own plan is to wait till Q1 2012 and get the 2011 socket, I'll point out the cost per unit of the low end 2011 cpus is about the same as the high end 1155 cpus

    Core i7-2600 95 W LGA 1155 $294 vs Core i7-3820 130W LGA2011 $294
