Doesnt have any problems on my machine. performs how you want it to untill I set the browser window size to under 200 pixles then its just a mess of scroll bars

clear your browser cache you might find that you're machine is using an old cached copy of the page.

    Page titles are still 'Untitled'.

What are you using to build the site?

More interesting/ exciting header needed. Looks a bit on the bland side. Have to capture the attention of who ever looks at it. First impressions are important.

There's some really useful info around about classic do's and dont's for web design (and a great book I read years ago, can't remember the name).

Haven't even looked at yours yet, but best advice I ever took was to keep it simple and clean.

Looking forward to catching up when/if I come home

Discocam I changed the title on every content page but its not showing in teh browser. I'll goand have a look maybe I missed teh frameset or index page.

I'm using KompoZer as the program to build it with (modifying it originally done in DW). That's not ideal but I can;t use DW as I now only have a Linux machine (on loan to me)

33china - when you sy header do you mean like a mathead at the top of each page?
I don;t want to make an extra frame for that - it's getting a bi beyond my html ailities already...

Hmm, the site is displaying fine n IE7 (no scroll bar on theboto of menu at LHS of screen) but the scroll bar at th bottom DOES appear on Firefox. Do othe fireforx users see the same thing?

Nope - as I vary the window size (specifically width), the left column remains static (width-wise).

Edit: If you are seeing the horizontal scroll bar, either your screen resolution is causing it or your font size is causing it.

Hold the control key and scroll the mouse to a smaller font. Does the horizontal scroll bar disappear?

On your home page. " WELCOME TO ........... " Posibly chance font & size.

" WELCOME TO ......." Make it interesting & inviting for first time viewers to continue to look at your website . Put a good picture very near the top. You have to have something to draw the viewer in. Well thats the way I look at it when I'm looking for new websites.

Personally, I'd get rid of the frames.

I was a fan of them years back, but now I'm not fond of them. I think most websurfers are used to scrolling up to the top of the page to find links, and it takes away any technological hassles, particuarly on various screen resolutions.

This might mean having to categorize your menu links, but there's various ways of doing that.

When you get time, add a Page title - heaps easier for navigating Page & Window Titles
