    Conduit Engine, - Removal ???

Anyone been assaulted by this little nasty ?
-Downloaded REVO (free version) but Satan and all his works and pomps are still evident, despite being 'un-installed'

Is it easier/more effective to pay a Geek/exorcist to come in and do the deed ?

    Ouch !

Thanks, but such stuff is beyond my feeble abilities... thinking seriously that a new HDD would be the cheaper way out ... - Or employ a 'Guru' / Geek.

I've just deleted all the entries in the Registry using Regedit (part of Windows).

Now using Windows Explorer search (making sure I've got hidden and system folders ticked in the advanced options section) to find any other file entries.

Hopefully it's all gone. I think it got installed with Vuze — that's where most of the Conduit references were.

    Thanks for your encouragement..

Still not sure how I did it.... but with AVG and Malawarebytes (both freebies, which says something I suppose ) and dumping heaps of games and other rubbish... it comes up clean now. Sort of. - Have got a pesky notice from something saying I've got 49 nasties still there, and would I like to upgrade to remove them.- Both before and after the Big Cleanup.

    Fingers crossed!

Aha ! - Post went through... was'nt letting me post at all... and AULRO was as slow-as - Edit.
