    Lots of blue screens lately!

Interesting times in the last few weeks We've had 5 site servers and a laptop throw up multiple blue screen crashes.

All the same well known international brand but different models and age from low end rack servers to high end desktops running W7 or server 2008.

Two of these were RAID one. One we had going again on the second drive within a few hours, the other took 3 days of mucking around with the vendor's tech support.

The other 3 servers (not RAID) will be replaced as the labour costs are more than a new machine is worth.

All had current Norton's 360 or Endpoint running. All are on the net albeit behind a firewall of some description. All run a SQL DB.

So my question; is something doing the rounds or is it just coincidence?

There is a patch released by MS in the last month causing it. IIRC, MS are recommending removing that patch.
