    Well W10 has been offered as a free upgrade on W7 and W8 computers so I suspect Windows update has brought this to you. I've got updates turned off for the moment so I don't know until I check.

    I do have a suspicion that 12 months or so after the world upgrades FOR FREE to windows 10,, Microsoft will then want a rental payment from the world to be able to keep using it.
    Remember,, this is the last windows ever---

    Memories of Win ME, and Vista haunt me to this day. The last immediately usable upgrade I ever remember from Microsoft was 3.11 :banghead::banghead:

    Yeah, I also have this free upgrade offer appearing on my computer. Not being that computer literate, I might hang off for a while and see what happens, unless anybody here who knows computers can say otherwise. I'm currently running Windows 7 and it's going fine!!! I'm always suspicious of supposedly "free" offers.
