    Posting Problems

    I have just posted a joke in the jokes section and every exclamation mark and apostrophe all appear as question marks.
    Full stops and other punctuation marks are ok.

    I will type a sentence here and see if it happens.

    "It's a lovely day" said Peter.

    On my screen before submitting this, all is good.
    Anyone got any ideas?

    The joke I posted I had to edit it to fix it and the same thing happened the other day with another joke.

    EDIT. Ok, it worked ok here. So I can assume it is only in the jokes thread that it is happening.
    Before I corrected it I copy and pasted it to word. Below is a sample.

    A politician dies and arrives in heaven. St Peter isn't sure where to place him.
    ?Spend one day in hell and one day in heaven.? he says
    ?Then you can choose where to spend eternity.?



    The Devil greats the politician. ?I don't understand,? stammers the politician.
    ?Yesterday there was a golf course and we ate lobster and had a great time,?

    I have Windows 7 and have been using Chrome as Firefox had been having issues with Flash Player and I got sick of it.

    This is being typed in Firefox. In Region and Language (Start - Control Panel - Region & Language) the region is set to Australia. What is yours set to?

    On the Keyboards & Languages tab, after clicking 'Change Languages' I can see that my default language is English (Australia) - US, which indicates the US keyboard layout. What is yours set to there?

    If it wasn't though, wouldn't my problem be in all thread posts, not just the joke page?

    Can randomly happen when you copy and paste.... No known fix that is commonly available sadly

    The only copy and paste was when I copy and pasted the problem,
    before I edited the post in question, so I had a sample to show anyone who might have a fix.

    For example in this thread.

    I'm confused.

    The stuff you typed was OK.

    The stuff you copied and pasted into Word then back again is wrong. That confirms Inc's copy and paste comment.
