    Win10 & Nanocom

Hi all, since moving to Widows 10, I haven't been able to connect Nanocom1 to the Laptop.
The Nanocom and vehicle are communicating fine, the Nanocom programme opens, com port is correct and hasn't been altered since previous use. It just doesn't display any info.
    Ideas?

If the com port is open .. 100% for sure, then maybe the baud rate has been altered.
I don't have a nanocom, so have less than zero knowledge of the required configs to get one working, but maybe in the update to Win10(from whatever you previously had), the ports configs had been altered.

eg. if the nanocom requires the port to be configured to say 38400 to communicate correctly, and you initially set this up in your previous Windows environment, then there is a good chance that the ports default 9600 baud rate was reset when Win10 was installed(if the nanocom was not connected .. which is almost certainly likely).

Go to Control Panel, Device Manager, look for the port number under comms/LPT ports.
Highlight the one you connect too(most likely Com1 unless you have other com port depended devices).
Rightclick it there, select properties and it'll be obvious from there(if this is the issue!)
