Spoils a nice picture.
I am still new to WIN 10 and trying to work my way around it.
When I switch my computer on and it runs Windows up I get various pics as an opening screen that are rotated on a regular basis. Like this
Opening Screen
Now this is not the desktop with its normal wallpaper pics and various icons - I get the desktop when I log in after the Opening Screen pic has come up.
Now my question is - on this "opening screen" it has various texts such as the date and time on the bottom left which is helpful however the text in the center and top right are useless. Is there a way I can remove this text from the center of the screen and the top right.
Thanks
garry

Yes you can by changing the lock screen from "Spotlight" to "Picture". This means you will no longer get the changing pictures pushed to you from Microsoft along with their adds and tips (you can't get one with out the other).
I tolerate the adds/tips because I like the pictures.

My bad with apologies.
When creating the screen shot I noticed I did not have Picture selected as is in your link - selected that and the "Get Fun Facts, Tips and Tricks ......." option with the On/Off Slide then popped up. Selected that and the stuff I wanted gone is gone - the picture is fixed and does not rotate but if I get sick of it I can go back into settings and select a new one.
So - an extra thanks - luv and kisses (well maybe not)
Thanks for your help.
Also I have Win 10 Home Version 1803.
Thanks to everyone who contributed
