Not sure, I never sign out in the first place... Would probably save some money if I did...
Hello All,
Somehow I have accidentally had my password to eBay "remembered". When I press "sign in" it automatically shows the line of dots representing my password then - "bingo" I am into eBay.
I do NOT want anything remembering my password for me.
Where can I go into eBay's system to get rid of the automatic "sign-in" or "remember", or whatever damn thing happened?
Kind regards
Lionel

What device you using? My iPad saves passwords if I let it. That can be turned off in settings.

Open Ebay - at the top left of your page is your name (says Gday 'your name') with a little downward pointing arrow to the right of it - click on that arrow and "log out" is at the bottom of that menu.

Hello Garry,
Thanks for the reply. Yes I follow that procedure. However, when I go to "Sign-in" the next time it should send me to a new screen where I should be asked to enter my username and then prompted to enter my Password.
However, there is a setting lurking somewhere in eBay which is automatically filling in my username and password. It is this automatic username and password happening that I want to disable.
So the next time I "sign-in" I have to do the two entries: Username and Password manually
Kind regards
Lionel
That is not ebay doing that - that is your internet browser - you need to go into the tools section of your browser (Firefox, IE, Chrome etc) and then into security and passwords and delete you login details there.
At some stage you browser has asked you if you wanted to save your ebay login so it can prefill for you and you have said yes.
