If it's pop up ads that are annoying you then try Ublock Origin. It's an extension that installs into Firefox.
I use Firefox (not changing) and have the Pop Up Blocker activated (AULRO exempt ).
When I am on some other sites Pop Ups still happen - looking at information on Pop Up blockers it says some Pop Ups may not actually be Pop Ups and could be ads etc and are not blocked by Pop Up Blockers.
So does anyone know of a bit of free software that will stop things appearing on the screen when on any particular site - used to be Pop Ups but may not be.
Thanks
Garry
