Projectors for PowerPoint Indoor Presentations PC Android Based

    Hello All,

Do any of you use portable projectors that can be linked to a laptop to display PowerPoint presentations to an indoor audience? If so what model and make have you had good reliability with using?

These are units that are Android based working with a HP Laptop.

The budget is in the hundreds not thousands of dollars.

I have been checking out different options of easily transportable projectors that can be linked to a laptop computer and displaying the presentation at indoor venues. At places like JB HiFi they start at $349 and work up into the thousands of dollars. Well under their heading of "Projectors" that is. This selection does include home cinema projectors with all the bells and whistles.

Similar electronic goods stores seem to advertise the same items. EBay however offers a more extensive range that starts off around $35 for an: Intelligent Projector Bluetooth Wifi Support 1080P HD Home Office Multimedia/Android Projector HIFI Stereo HDMI USB Audio".

From there they work up to the next group valued at around $240 to $350 which are advertised as Mini LCD Android Projector Portable Smart Projector Blue tooth HDMI 200'' Screen. Then there are the $ks types.

    Kind regards
    Lionel

depending on how much light you want it to throw the anko one from Kmart ($99) with a built in dvd player is reasonably good.

run it in HDMI mode and it functions as a second screen, set up dual screen (not mirrored) and flick the power point to the second screen.

it runs a quasi android OS and has bluetooth so in theory is capable of doing it on the air from from an android device
