    Powering a PCI-E video card

Building up a spare i5 pc for my daughter to use and got an Asus GTX 660 card to use instead of the onboard chip, card has 2 x 6 pin power connectors but i only have 1 x 6 pin cable from the PSU.
Looking online i can see double molex to 6 pin and sata to 6 pin, i only have 1 x molex spare so lloks like the sata to 6 pin might be the go.
Anyone used one of these, i'm not about to replace the PSU.
I get a message at startup to connect a power cable so one connected doesn't work.

The double adapter is okay if the rail they are on can handle the power draw

I try and use two separate adapters if possible

I have one 6 pin plug I can use and will buy a sata to 6 pin lead which seems to be the easiest solution.
Both on separate leads so should be ok.
