Any Mac musos out there?
Frankly don't know where to put this, or even where to start, so here it is I guess.
I don't play an instrument, but some people reckon I can sing ( fools ). I have recently joined a choir
. Anyway, the point of this is I want to sing at home and record myself making a fool of me. The Mac has excellent inbuilt amateur software called GarageBand, which is all very well if you can play. What I want to do is take an existing song by a commercial artist and sort of strip it down to simple chords and rhythm so I can add my own vocals. I guess a sort of karaoke, but with much less of the original music track. Hope that's clear.... Does anyone know of a process or some cheap software for this? This is absolutely for personal use only. The idea of anyone else hearing me is unthinkable....😱
