macs are for nuff nuffs ! they are made to be idiot proof !
geez it took them 4 eva top get a 2 button mouse, and scrolly wheel, wots that?
some things they have are really good but on the whole they are just plain limited .
limited by stuff all software
stuff all upgrade options
stuff all games ! + poor games performance!
the reason they have some good programs is cos they are like a pc console.ie limited variation in hardware , almost completely fixed hardware.
some programs have been stupidly HIGHLY optimised for them. eg photoshop and they run very well ! but they are such a small amount although they are mostly very good !
of course they are god damn stupidly expensive! value 4 money they aint! :(

geez it took them 4 eva top get a 2 button mouse, and scrolly wheel, wots that? Don't need one if you know the keyboard shortcuts for things, and the shortcuts end up being faster than a two button mouse!

well i am being sociable but it seems that there is a bit of a mac conspiracy here that any one who doesnt see that macs are the bees knees then they must be told to shut up or bugger off!
well i find it kinda odd that u posted all this stuff bagging me and then it dissappeared and then macman posted his stuff and now u are having another go at me !
actually what is really odd is that there seems to be a bit of a following with macs here and yet the overwhelming majoritory of people using computers in the world use windows pc's ! very strange !
pc's are just far more flexible and compatable!
i certainly wouldnt mind a mac to have a play with cos i just like to f...k with sh.t ! certainly be very interesting!
u obviously are a mac lover at heart and i would bet u sell macs as a preference! hell thats probly all u offer! but i wont hold it against u ! :)

if lucky there might be 10 maybe 12 mac users here out of a couple of thousand, so it certainly isnt a hotbed of macs..
i like "computers", the current macs happen to be the best personal system around at the moment, i personally prefer my old 6502 based atari 800xl it is the most usable system i have ever come across.
you want to act like a miserable user, that how you will be classed.. no great conspirisy, there is a basic requirement that you behave like an adult on this site if you wish to keep accessing it :P
very easy to overclock a mac..... trouble is there is no need ...

I've had PCs all my life(have 4), then added an Imac (PPC) and now a MBP.
Only OSes running are Ubuntu and OS X
Which is used more often? The Macs...
Why.. They just work, that simple, no ****ty drivers, no BSODs no rubbish.
No 47 button mouse with 23 scroll wheels....
No requirement to upgrade hardware because an OS has got so fat and bloated it uses dual core processors with tonnes of ram just to run the GUI.
No BS file systems using proprietary code
No crappy security flaws
No virus issues
For games why would one stuff around with a PC thats what PS3 and XBox360s are for...
Stop living in PC denial.... Fact is the world has become accustomed to poorly finished software and unsecure operating systems made by MS and think that the PC is the best.
How often does one buy a new piece of hardware only to discover it wont install easily or slows the system down to buggery due to IRQ issues etc..
None of that crap even exists on a Mac
And BIOS... Hah! So outdated its a joke.

I like Mac. Always have.
I don't use them for games. But I did acquire a Mac some years ago which had F18 Hornet onboard, that was lotsa fun!
