restart computer, pressing F8 every second till you get the windows boot menu, pick VGA mode, let it load windows, then go set the resolution to what you want..
Hey - I just tried one of the earlier suggestions and turned the monitor upside down and that worked.
But it's bloody hard typing now - I suppose that's a drawback of laptops.:p
We used to do this trick to the supervisors pc at my old work, then we showed him how to fix it with the following sequence
CTRL+ALT+left, CTRL+ALT+DN,CTRL+ALT+Right,CTRL+ALT+up,CTRL+ALT+Dn
We also told him the sequence had to be completed within a 3 second time frame.
He caught on (after a month) but still always got someone to fix it for him
Whenever he left his desk someone would turn his screen image upside down. Eventually he caught on. Then we turned the whole monitor upside down. Took him a good 5 minutes to realise that his image was the right way up.
Childish, yes
Fun, definately
the best part was watching him with his tongue out to the side trying to type the magic sequence within the 3 second period.
