EVERYTHING

it didnt even repair properly the first time,
it ripped out my agp card and stopped me from reloading it

lost 5 .dll files,
catsrv.dll
directdb.dll
inetcomm.dll
msoe.dllwab32.dll

would not recognise usb modem
so then i treied a repair again

kept my agp card but lost those files, again
added them from second pc

the "microsoft system management bios driver" needs one

a proceedure point could not be located
getbestinterfaceEx.???



but the main problem is bluey will not recognise the usb modem cable when plugged in

whats a fixcc exe?
this goes ballistic everytime I run SP2
need an enhanced usb driver,,,
SP2 will not load(which has that driver)

do i need to run SP1(please say no) first

screw windows.

you need to reinstall your drivers...

start with motherboard
then video
then the extras like modem etc

Didn't all of the problems start months ago when you installed a new video card?

keeps finding a new usb controller,,
(the one that will let the modem talk to the pc,, obviously)

but where are the drivers?

theres already 4 "Via" usb controllers there,
4 usb root hubs
a mass storage hub,
a composite hub,
a generic usb hub

its nearly beer oclock---

oh,, nand the network wizard now has a different excuse,,,

its telling me I need a local network connection,,

clever huh,,

can still print from greeny to blueys printer though

And I sort of remember that you had a problem that was solved by turning plug and play autodetect, or something like that, back on after it was switched off.

Maybe you should switch it off again.
