    Trolling Fleabay

Couldn't think of another title, is it the site or my computor,

    The problem,
can go to the main page to start looking around, type in landrover,, the thing then slows down and comes up with the an error message 'can't find site, or something like that,
have tried diferent combinations, anything to do with cars won't come up, I can look at crystal glasses and other vehs, but not the cars section.
Anyone have any ideas what is causing it?

I have just tried a search for land rover and it came back with full pages??
I would try closing internet explorer and running it again.

    It's working now.

I was also asked by ebay to renew my password so I guess they were maintaining the site.

Just going to ask the obvious question, did you receive the request to change password in your ebay messages folder?

From what I remember when I logged on it told me to change my password.

If this was in an email rather than via the My Messages section in My eBay, go back in via the eBay main page and change it to something else QUICK.

    thanks guys,
i have tried it both ways offline and logged in and it makes no difference, the only thing it has asked is to load up a flash program.
I did a cleanup the other and that may be the prob, got rid of all those cookies.

Will keep trying, just tried it in another screen, now it works, its possessed by demons, i am sure.

    many thanks.

    Be very very careful.

If you were asked to change your password in an email then you must IMMEDIATELY CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD AGAIN on the Ebay site, as recommended by others above.

The fact that Ebay couldn't find any Land Rovers when you did a search makes me think that you have clicked on a link in an email (phishing) which has then taken you to a fake Ebay site - the one you changed your password on perhaps? If so, this means that a scammer now has your username and password.

I hope I'm wrong and it is just an Ebay admin thing, but I highly doubt it, I've never seen or heard of this happening upon log in with Ebay. I have heard of plenty of email scams though.

I visit ebay almost everyday and have never been asked to update my password, i think you have been scammed. Never respond to any email asking you to update ANY details like password/ account etc.
