    Crap

    could someone tell me please..i cannot open hotmail, ebay, upload a picture for my avatar...just takes forever then says unsuccessful bla bla...other computer works fine but this one {wireless network card} wont go there...but other sites it does not have a problem...

    So you do have some connection to the internet via the wireless card? If so clear the cache and the cookies on your browser, then shut down the browser and start it up again, should solve the problem.

    If that doesn't do it download adaware or spybot and run them.

    Change to firefox and get the adblock extension.

    No, trying to find out just what the dialog box said first.

    It could be a config snafu, due to a system or application update. Temporary, it used to work, now it doesn't?
    I've got temporary deafness with my recently updated Linux machine, sound broke. Bugger.

    Or, like Simon suggests, a browser cache full of crap.

    But, more than just bla bla is needed to actually help.
