Do you ever get that feeling of deja vu?

Go ADSL2+ and a 4 port wireless router.
I've got 3 hard-wired PCs and sometimes my laptop on wireless (not to mention Wii, DS2, etc) at home; works a treat.![]()
We have ADSL and a 4 port wireless router as well.
Both our computers run off the wireless as the router/modem is in another room due to the location of the phone connection.
Although I have the parts to put a new power point and phone point in the office. Just haven't done it yet. Hate crawling around in the roof.
Plus with the network you can easily share files, printers etc.
Plus LAN games.
Yes, as mentioned above, only one ADSL modem per phone line.
You can either hard wire other computers from the modem, or use a wireless router.
Alternatives are to have an extra phone line installed, or install a wireless modem.

I only bought this modem (netgear dg834) last christmas,,
do I HAVE to replace it???

You don't have to have a wireless router integrated with an ADSL modem. I just plug my modem into the router. So two separate boxes. If that is what you mean.
You can get a 4 port switch = ethernet equivalent of a 4 socket powerboard.
Or you could get a wireless access point - which does the wireless bit without the adsl modem bit.
Officeworks had a Netgear w634g (something like that) something that'd work for $79 the other day, I doubt you'll get away cheaper for any other option.
Didn't you buy a modem/router with a 4 port switch built in?
