Next question: When clicking Ctrl+T to get a new tab, how can I set it up so that this new tab opens up my home page Google so I can start searching from this tab? At the moment I have to open the tab and select home page.

Download Crazy Browser, its a skin over IE7.
That'll do want you want & more, very easy to customise.
I prefer Crazy Browser over IE7 to use.

Ctrl-T followed by Tab gets to the search bar up the top of the page.Quote:
