    EMAIL PHOTOS

    Using Photoshop or similar program:
    . Save as JPG
.Second window asks for quality setting:-select 2-4 on a scale of 12
.Information should show you the size of new file, for that size file it should compress to 500k-700k
.Quality at receiving end will be good enough to print.

I regularly compress photos for newspapers at the same rate and they print up fine.

    Cheers.

if you have office try MS picture manager that can resize pics for you in about 3 steps, it can do multiple pics too which is handy

Mate forgot all the above and download Irfanview, its free and as soon as you open the program there is a button on the top right that says half size, open a picture click that button and immediately its half the size, there are custom size choices as well. The simplest program ever made , i use it before i open PS CS3 or any of the other 3 imaging programs i have for resizing an image.
