How long have you had the issue. I don't thinkit is apple as I can get through fine.

It is most likeley that there is a proxy setting or firewall issue at your end.

A good place to start is,

Under tools in internet explorer, select internet options / then connections and then LAN Settings. Try unchecking every thing (take note of the settings first in case we need to put them back.)

save it all and the open itunes and see if it works. If not then reply with what version of IE you are using and if you are using vista or XP and we can see what we can work out

    Cheers

Happens to us quite regularly in peak periods (evenings). Christmas would have made it worse.

As others have suggested, try the store at a different time of day or night.

    Fixed

Right not to sure how my brother did it but it is fixed now. He said that it (proxy I think) was set on 'home office' and not external.

Unsure what that means but the wife is now down loading McClouds daughters. AAAAAhhhhhh

    Cheers all, Easo
