I'll let Sleepy tell you.
I'll just settle for making the snide remark that as he is making do with a second rate operating system, he might have been able to use the Alt and numeric keypad method or he might have had to resort to something else. :p
Nothing smart - I jsut cut and past tooshay into WORD cos I dunno how to spell and it does me a little red squiggle and shows me how to spell proper - and does a little do-dad above the "e" that I googled to find out the it is called an ACCUTE ACCENT. Makes me sound smarterer than I reely am!:D:D
Only reason i use Vista is cos it came with my laptop and I have no idea how to change it.:p
Alt arrow gives me nuthin!
Vista is like owning a Td5 - I just amour-all the engine cover and hope it knows what is doing under that black plastic thingamy.:D:D

Unicode font. A font where a combination of key storkes gives you a special character. In Word (etc.) you insert a symbol like the e in touché and it can be ready by any Vist/XP/mac machine that operates a keyboard!
Try this link.
Keyboard Shortcuts for special characters
Basically you hold down the Alt key and use the numeric keypad to type a number then release the Alt key.
Ah huh, I just worked it out!.......<<insert sound of penny dropping>>>
:eek:I don't have a numeric keypad.
