    Arrghh Flash Player

Why can't I get the flash player download to work on my stupid little work computer?

I have tried all the trouble shooting things they recommend, still nothing.

It says it downloads, but then it doesn't work. Very frustrating.

Computer is a small Acer, running Windows XP ( I think).

I need flash player so I can do the Santos Cooper Basin induction.

I had the same problem, but running Vista.
Sometimes IE (Internet Explorer) gets corrupted, or virus infected & unfortunately you can't uninstall & reinstall.
Download latest IE8 from Micro$oft and then download flash player. this should do the trick.
If this doesn't work then ditch Microsoft and download firefox from Google.

I've been helping family and friends with Flash upgrades and installs and I have been having a lot of trouble lately.
I ended up downloading from here
    Adobe (Macromedia) Flash Player Download
    and its been no drama.
