Surely it would need to be uploading to something to be converted....to a program of some sort.

No, when I upload my pics and vids to my home or work computer, they are Jpg and Mpg files, I use windows uploading system which converts them, I then upload to Photobucket.

I can import movies from my camera and edit them with movie maker, But it won't allow me to put it to disc any thoughts

When you've made the video, you can easily burn the file to a DVD using windows or nero or roxio etc.

I have dvd fab but doesnt work so will try something else. A freind has told me to try a cd so will try it and see how i go.
