Check your Anti virus software, they nowadays scan every page and link on pages before the page gets displayed. Turn that off and you should see a massive difference.
I did.....turn it off no difference and Aulro was the only thing I was doing on the computer at the time..

I just wasn't sure whether the browser was getting attacked by other stuff bogging it down.
Either that or it actually was the site!

At the time I was moving a lot of threads in to thier new category's in the disco section whether that had any bearing on how hard the computer was having to work I don't know

I don't see any reason why it would of done it and now it fine less than 12hrs later only differnce being the ad blocker ram is running at 45% where it usually does.
