    i survived...

    seems a bit quicker too...

    The SP takes AGES to run doesn't it?

    Get yourself a copy of Windows 7 and have a play. It is significantly faster and snappier than Vista. Stable as too, even though it is not the final build.

    Just installed an extra 4 gigs of RAM about 10 mins ago........... making a total of 8 gigs.

    Very quick, and very smooth now.

    Installing update now..............

    Are you running 64-Bit? If not, can Windows 32-Bit see all that RAM?

    Yep, home premium, 64 bit.

    Quad core 2.83 Ghz
    8 Gigs, 1066Mhz RAM
    Nvidia Geforce 9800GT - 1 Gig



    Yeah yeah, I know, I'm just bragging. But I've never had a half decent PC before.

    I'm sure there are better sytems out there, though.
