After reading the hype on here about Safari 4 I installed a copy. (Windows XP pro).
There is no way it is faster or better than IE8 or the other browser I use occasionly which is Chrome.
Now where is the uninstal button!

Interesting. Objective tests haven't agreed with you. There aren't many out there yet for the non beta version but here is one to start with.

Safari 4 benchmarked: 42x faster than IE 7, 3.5x faster than Firefox 3

I'll have a look for a un-install safari button if you look for a uninstall IE button... LOL.

IE became magically corrupted on my work pc... the computer was unusable and the only option was to re-install windows

In other news apparently macs are 20% smaller in Australia.

I'm not a Mac user so I can't figure out how to use Safari.

How does one access Options, open a new tab, etc?

On the right of the top bar is a little gear or something (it looks different for me but I've seen it at work).

    To get a tab it's ctrl-T and to get a new window it's ctrl-N.

Aha! Thanks for that. I've found there is also a + sign on the RHS - that opens up a new tab.

Cool. Also note that the X appears to allow you to delete a tab when you hover over the tab.
