Thread: Safari 4 really is **really** fast

I'm not sure that I'm noticing Safari 4 to be faster than IE8 at all, but it is clumbsier to use, especially the favourites menu. The other thing is it will not open my work email at all where IE8 does straight away. I can do this test side by side. The tools options seem to be less also.

I think at this stage I'll stick with IE8.

After installing Safari on my PC, I thought I'd have another look at Opera.
I installed Opera 10 Beta. It has some very nice features and is just as fast as Safari. Visually, I prefer it. I particularly like the thumbnail view for tabs.

Either way, I don't think I'll be using IE8 anymore!
